An independent or studio setup changes how a model’s work is organized. It does not tell you whether the person is experienced, how the room looks, or what kind of show they offer. If you are considering either setup, start with the account and payment details.
Questions to settle before joining
| Topic | Ask this |
|---|---|
| Account control | Who owns the broadcaster account, controls its email, and can recover access? |
| Payments | Does the platform pay you or the studio? What share do you receive, and when? |
| Equipment | Who provides the camera, computer, room, and connection? Are any costs deducted? |
| Support | Who handles setup, technical problems, and platform support requests? |
| Leaving | What happens to the account, followers, recordings, and unpaid earnings if you leave? |
A concrete example: Chaturbate
Chaturbate’s studio-account instructions explain that earnings from studio broadcasters are collected in the studio account. Its token-conversion help says studio broadcasters cannot convert their own tokens to a payment; their balance moves to the studio nightly.
Chaturbate’s account terms also assign studio sub-account ownership to the studio. Those are Chaturbate’s rules; check the actual terms of any other platform you are considering.
